Burgundy is a romantic lofi experience by Poetics. Poetics is known for his production in Christian hip-hop for heavyweights like KB, Canon, KJ-52, & Derek Minor, but this project flexes different muscles for him. Inspired by the color of the same name this project is romantic, it is smooth., it invokes a feeling of euphoria or emotion on the listener. The project is 10 tracks, but clocks in at only 18 minutes. Every sound is purposeful to take you for a journey through sound. This is something you can listen to on a sad rainy day, or listen to while you’re cooking, cleaning, studying. It balances the ability to be played in the background or directly in front of you.
